Tharu Family Corn Husk Dolls
Nepal holds 36 ethnic groups within the distance of 100 kilometer from north to south.Tharus are Mongolia origin and enjoy the extended family of 3 to 4 generation. The Tharu family is coming back from the market. The father is carrying his young child on the shoulder while the mother is carrying goods in a basket ‘tokari’ on top of her head.
The body of these dolls is made of recycled wooden products and dresses from corn husk while the box is made out of recycled paper.
